At the present moment I'm having a hard time remembering what shows I might have played in 2008, let alone in the years that came before that, it's all kind of a blur. This page is meant to give me a place to try and piece something together. Here's a list of the shows that I do remember, starting from towards the end of 2008, well, not remember entirely but you know what I mean. I'll try to elaborate on what might have happened on these dates with pictures, videos and my own somewhat hazy recollections, whatever I can dig up, if you were at any of these shows and have pictures, videos, or audio recordings of your own, or if you'd just like to take a little time to share what you think actually happened during any one of these gigs, please wrap it up in a email and send it my way, I'll add whatever is sent, wherever it goes. My deepest thanks and most heartfelt love goes out to all the people that showed up and made these things happen, I just wish I could remember more of what did.

s2k - Kipp's Shorts Tour '09 comes to an abrupt end.

the s2k Kipp's Shorts Tour '09 started at a New Year's Eve party when I realized that I didn't have any shorts to play in. I was wearing long pants that night and while my underwear was clean and everything I just couldn't wear that particular pair because they seriously lacked the ability to keep me fully concealed whenever I moved around, uhh, you know what I mean? So I went and found Kipp, his pad, his party, could I borrow a pair of his shorts to wear during my set? I had to repeat my request a couple of times until he figured out what I was on about but once he did Kipp ran off and came back with a pair of blue shorts, he's the man. I put them on, played in them and then tried to return them when I was done but he wouldn't have any of it, told me I could keep them, at that moment I knew two things, Kipp didn't want the shorts anymore and now I had to wear them everytime I played for the rest of the year. Things started out great, the shorts and I went out on the road with Byron House and Small Pox, Kipp's shorts got to travel and see new places, meet new faces, we came back to Florida, went to Miami together for the I.N.C., came back home, played a couple more shows and everything seemed to be just great but it turns out that they didn't quite make it the whole year, I did manage to wear them for 20 consecutive shows though. What happened? I'll tell you, I had to wash the shorts, I washed them, then dried them, I took them off the line, looked at them and was shocked to see just how filthy they were, I had no idea, I washed them again, still filthy, and again, still filthy, I mean just full of ground in dirt and stains, sweat, blood, beer, I guess I hadn't been paying any attention to how gross they were really getting (they were clean when Kipp gave them to me, all the filth was my own work) but now, ewww, they had gotten quite bad, it was a hard call for me to make but when I went out to this next show I intentionally left Kipp's shorts at home, fought the urge to turn around to go get them, and instead ended up playing in long pants for what I think was the first time ever in Florida. I'd like to thank Kipp for giving up his shorts in the first place, they served me well, they kept everything where it was supposed to be, for the most part, and the best way I can think of to thank him is to hereby announce the all brand-new.....
